We have built an earth-dome home at a site in Hertfordshire. Simon Lawson of Lawsons Timber, Building & Fencing Merchants kindly agreed for us to use land at his site at Colney Heath. Our plan is to invite press, charities, construction companies and celebrities to view the demonstration and to find out more about the mission for NEST. It will showcase the domes and hopefully provide much needed publicity to raise awareness in the public arena.

Work starts young for most children in the developing world. NEST works to give more children the chance of education and a greater opportunity in life .
If more children had a better start in life, more of them could look to the future with great optimism.
Great Fund raising events raise thousands - and build teams NEST has worked with Colliers CRE and Nationwide to develop a great team-building event that raises funds for NEST and demonstrates the potential of the Earth Home. Teams work together to make small 'Play Domes' in schools - so the adults learn with the children about the needs of people in the developing world - and about the unique Earth Dome building technology.
Events have now run in several locations and have been a great success - thanks to the efforts of Colliers CRE sufficient funds were raised to finance the Mudzi Trust and Zimunya building projects.
The New Start Trust and Colliers CRE joins children in schools from around the country including Whitchurch and Manchester in the building of two earth playdomes. The domes are miniature versions of the NEST eco- domes and are built by employees of property services company Colliers CRE as part of their team building training with New Start Trust.
The children hear about the lives of orphans in Africa and the work of NEST - and through sponsorship to date Colliers CRE have raised the astounding sum of £50,000 to support future NEST activities.
